The CLIPPER-THON is a 5K/10k Walk or Run Family Fun Event.  It’s a community and fundraising event planned to raise funds for the Oxon Hill High School Instrumental Music Department, encourage community participation and promote health awareness.  Our mission is to foster community involvement by supporting instrumental musical talents and helping to shape creative minds.

Instrumental music is our pathway to activate, stimulate, and enrich our scholars.

To register for the CLIPPER-THON, all participants MUST accept the following waiver below:

I, and my heirs, hereby release the Prince George’s County Government, Instrumental Music Boosters Association, Oxon Hill High School, its officers, employees and agents, and any other people officially connected with this event, from any and all liability for damage to or loss of personal property, sickness or injury from whatever source, legal entanglements, imprisonment, death, or loss of money, which might occur while participating in this event.

Specifically, I release said persons from any liability or responsibility for my physical condition, for the condition or selection of course route, and for the presence or actions of any other participants. I am aware of the risks of participation, which include the possibility of sprained muscles and ligaments, broken bones and fatigue. I also attest and verify that I am physically fit to participate in this activity.

*CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES
